Edinburgh's Best
Douglas is an incredible photographer and made our experience unforgettable. I came from New York, USA, and wanted to plan a surprise proposal for my girlfriend in Edinburgh. Since I wasn’t familiar with the city, Douglas suggested beautiful locations for the proposal. He even arrived 30 minutes early to check the site and discovered it was closed that day. Even though he had already commuted an hour to get there, he thoughtfully offered to reschedule for the next day. I really appreciated having that flexibility, but thanks to his quick thinking we switched to another location right away and everything went perfectly. During the shoot, Douglas guided us with natural couple poses and made us feel comfortable throughout. What truly impressed me was that he delivered the edited photos within just a few hours. The photos turned out amazing, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Douglas absolutely nailed it, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer in Edinburgh.
Incredible
Douglas was able to capture both the minute details and grand scale of my wedding beautifully. Douglas' ability to bring the colours out of my bridesmaids' dresses and the groomsmens' kilts really made the family portraits that were taken inside the venue stand out, pictures which we intend to keep as treasured keepsakes. When it came to the couples portraits, Douglas made us feel totally at ease, meaning our natural selves were able to shine through the our most intimate pictures. We also want to thank Douglas for capturing the tiny details of our rings, accessories, flowers, cake and wedding venue decorations, all of which means we have a full picture of how our big day looked - something particularly important to us as it was such a whirlwind experience.
